I don’t know how many people access this site anymore, but I have some documents from the EPA on the water quality for Weatherly since about 2004, including the issue in March of 2011.

We are the first (1881 founded by E.F. Warner) and only Funeral Home in Weatherly.

I think you need a better system to alert people of danger!! I have a three month old and 22 month old grandsons living in town and drinking the water!! You seem to be able to communicate when you car is parked on the wrong side of the road during a snow storm but nothing to alert people of health conditions. You have such a large rate for electric and I know the excess goes into the town so how about using some of that money to develop and alert system. Maybe volunteers going door to door with a bottle of water would have helped expedite this concern. Maybe set up an email alert system for those who are connected, posting on facebook? There are lots of things the town could do to be better prepared.
